Well, unfortunately, my first ever post to this blog would happen to occur on a nasty day.
You see, when I leave for school Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I take the 9:25 bus to ensure that I get there in time for my 10:00 Sociology class. Well, I suppose that the bus driver of said timely bus decided to just not come today. Which meant I stood in the freezing January morning for ten minutes after the time it should have come. So I went back into my house; thankfully my bus stop is across the street from my house. I waited for the 10:00 bus, which took until 10:10 to actually show up. Thusly I was out in the cold weather for more than 20 minutes today (that includes me getting to the bus stop early each time so as to not miss it).
This has made me feel sick. On top of that, I’ve got my period. Thanks, nature. Thanks. You know, I never asked to be born with a vagina. That was a freak accident.
Anyway, the rest of the day wasn’t so bad. It was what I shall from herein call Black Friday. No, not like the day after Thanksgiving. Black Friday is the day when my friend Alex and I dress in our respective steampunk and goth finery. Oh, the frills! Oh, the velvet! It’s quite fun, and I hope to continue doing it again and again. I’m pretty sure we will, and it’s always nice to not be the only goofy looking fucker in the crowd – well, unless you count those assholes at the campus who decide to wear shorts in winter. NEWSFLASH: IT’S COLD OUT, FUCKERS.
Err, anyway, that’s about all for now. I just needed to christen this blog with a good ol’ fashioned rant.
I now leave you with the below video. It’s the very, very old school “Vampires Will Never Hurt You” by My Chemical Romance. Fun fact: they painted the scenery for this video! Also, check out Frank’s dreads and Ray’s lack of fro. Snerk.
